With all the wars, poverty, crime, injustice, etc. in the world, who thinks we are living in primitive times?

We generally consider our age advanced and perhaps that is true with our scientific and technological advancements. However we still live in an age where gangsters rule many urban areas in U.S. and perhaps around the world, racism and ism are still rampant, wars are all over the world, capitalism is controlling everything. Do you agree this is still a primitive age?
