I feel like my friend doesn't respect my decision for me to go to College?

I know that the school year just started and i'm a Freshmen in High School and i'm already thinking about college and i have my eyes on either going to BG-SU,Wright State,or OHio University,but i feel like my friend doesn't respect my decision i mean she wants to go Vantage which a Vocational School in our area and i don't want to because i believe that everybody should be challenged when they go to school instead of getting off on the easy side of life because then you'll never get anywhere.
