Becoming a doctor with low GPA and high SAT.?

I want to pursue the career of a doctor. The problem is that I don't have a high GPA. My GPA is around 2.6 or 2.7 because I was brought into algebra in seventh grade but I wasn't ready for it and that screwed my GPA. I scored extremely high on my SAT's(By the way if anybody knows what end of grade tests are, I scored 4's on those.). I'm just afraid if I apply to a college like North Carolina A&T or UNC I won't get in because of my low GPA. Could I possibly get into a good school or even ivy league with my ets?
