Gross! Where are maggots coming from?

I have a clean house and kitchen. I swear! But the last two mornings I've gotten up, there have been hundreds of maggots on the floor in the kitchen. I've looked for the source ( trash, etc.) but no luck. I know flies have maggots But dont they have them in meat or something? Please help. Im going crazy!
