Kawasaki kz440 carb removal?

im not to familiar with bikes .. im more of a car person but i have a kawasaki kz440 and i think its an 81' ... i wanted to know what the spacific process to go about removing the carburetors ... i know there is gas in the tank and a battery hooked up ... but im not sure what all needs to be tooken off and what steps to take ... the reason im taaking out the carbs is because im replacing the jets because the original once are not working .. any help with the steps i need to take for this motorcycle would be much appreciated ... thanks!
